Folks, he grew up and became a writer!

I have been writing copy and content since 2011. That includes about four and a half years in a digital marketing agency, six years in freelance, and a little less than a year at a dictionary website. I’ve written thousands of pieces of content for hundreds of clients (some of whom may not exist on this earthly plane anymore), but here are some of my personal favorite projects. (Ask me about my freelance folder if you’d like to see more!)

California Music Studios

Along with blogs, site copy, and location pages, I wrote the content and design briefs for infographics aimed at educating kids and parents and encouraging them to sign up for music lessons. I managed and collaborated with freelance designers to ensure accuracy of the content and efficient delivery.

YourDictionary

As the staff writer, I wrote articles about word usage and trending language. One of my favorite projects: a series that broke down 20+ different types of essays, including sample essays and tips, to help students (from middle school to college levels) improve their essay writing abilities.

Honorable mention goes to an article on quiet quitting, one of our most popular pieces (in terms of both clicks and SERP position). And it was just plain fun to research and write!

Everlywell

I wrote articles for Everlywell, a company that provides home-testing kits for a variety of health needs. Blogs were reviewed by experts (because, as I continue to tell my disappointed parents, I’m not a doctor). Topics ran the gamut of consumer health, including diabetes, sexual health, and coronavirus.
